PERANCANGAN VIDEO ANIMASI MOTION GRAPHIC BAHAYA MIKROPLASTIK BAGI TANAH SEBAGAI UPAYA EDUKASI KEPADA MASYARAKAT

Abstract

Mikroplastik adalah plastik berukuran kurang dari 5 mm yang mudah terperangkap di dalam tanah dan mencemari lingkungan. Akan tetapi, masih banyak warga Kota Semarang yang belum memahaminya atau bahkan dengan sengaja membuang limbah plastik langsung ke lingkungan, sehingga mencemarkan mikroplastik ke dalam tanah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembuatan video edukasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang bahaya mikroplastik bagi tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode analisis framing dan metode perancangan berupa praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah video animasi motion graphic sebagai media utama, serta poster, stiker, totebag, dan kaos sebagai media pendukung. Kata Kunci  : Mikroplastik, Motion graphic, Edukasi Microplastics are plastics less than 5 mm in size that are easily trapped in the soil and pollute the environment. However, there are still many residents of Semarang City who have no understanding of it or even deliberately dispose of plastic waste directly into nature, thus contaminating microplastics into the soil. Therefore, it is necessary to make an educational video to increase public understanding of the dangers of microplastics to the soil. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a framing analysis method and a design method of pre-production, production, and post-production. The result of this design is a motion graphic animation video as the primary media, as well as posters, stickers, tote bags, and t-shirts as supporting media.
