CITRAKARA applies a maximum similarity threshold of 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 20% will be returned to the authors for revision and resubmission. The revised manuscript may be screened again before proceeding to the peer-review process. The similarity score is used as an initial screening indicator. A similarity index of 20% or below does not automatically guarantee that a manuscript is free from plagiarism. The editorial team may examine the Turnitin report to assess the nature and context of the similarities, including quotations, references, commonly used terminology, and legitimate textual overlap.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their manuscripts and for properly acknowledging all sources, quotations, ideas, images, and other materials obtained from third parties. Manuscripts identified as containing substantial or inappropriate plagiarism may be rejected by the editorial team. If plagiarism or other forms of academic misconduct are identified after publication, CITRAKARA may take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policy, including correction, retraction, or other measures deemed necessary.
