Peer Review Process

VISIKES operates a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the highest standards of objectivity and academic quality.

  1. Initial Screening: Upon submission, the Editorial Team conducts a preliminary check to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's focus and scope, formatting guidelines, and passes the similarity/plagiarism check.
  2. Double-Blind Review: If approved at the initial stage, the manuscript is sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. Both the reviewers' and the authors' identities are concealed from each other throughout the process.
  3. Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editor will make a final decision. The possible outcomes are: Accept Submission, Revisions Required, Resubmit for Review, or Decline Submission.

The entire review process from submission to the first decision usually takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks.
