About the Journal

VISIKES is a leading health journal published by the Faculty of Health, Dian Nuswantoro University, Semarang. Since its establishment, VISIKES has served as a platform for sharing innovative research findings and critical studies in the field of public health.

The journal is published twice a year and welcomes contributions from researchers and academics worldwide, including those from universities and research institutions. VISIKES has been available in print since 2002 with ISSN 1412-3746 and transitioned to an online format in 2013, starting with Vol. 12 No. 1, under ISSN 2549-6557 for the online version.

VISIKES covers a broad range of public health disciplines, including health promotion and behavioral sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, health information management, public health nutrition, health policy and administration, occupational health and safety, and environmental health.

Through its rigorous peer-review process and commitment to academic excellence, VISIKES aims to advance public health knowledge and practices, benefiting both researchers and practitioners alike.
