Plagiarism Policy

VISIKES maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to rigorous plagiarism checks using similarity detection software (e.g., Turnitin or iThenticate) before undergoing the peer-review process.

Guidelines:

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%.
  • No single source should account for more than 3% of the similarities.
  • If plagiarism is detected during the review or editorial process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and the authors will be notified.
  • Self-plagiarism (text recycling) without proper citation is also considered unacceptable.
