Correction and Retraction Policy
VISIKES recognizes the importance of maintaining the integrity of the academic record. We follow COPE guidelines for correcting and retracting articles:
- Corrections (Erratum/Corrigendum): Issued when an honest error has been made by the author(s) or the publisher that affects the scientific accuracy, but does not invalidate the overall findings of the study.
- Retractions: Articles may be retracted if there is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of major errors (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error) or misconduct (e.g., data fabrication, image manipulation, or severe plagiarism).
- Expressions of Concern: Issued if editors have well-founded suspicions of misconduct or if there is an ongoing investigation regarding the integrity of the article.
