Abstract

Perancangan ulang website dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dari informasi Balaikota Semarang. Masalah yang ditemukan pada website informasi Balaikota Semarang adalah tidak adanya pilihan bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, tidak perlunya menu cepat, beberapa menu yang tidak berfungsi dan masalah di penyimpanan data. Dasar kebutuhan perancangan ulang adalah untuk analisa dan saran perbaikan pada web informasi Balaikota. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan kondisi sekarang dari informasi Balaikota dan menyediakan referensi bagi website supaya menjadi lebih baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah WA2WS framework yang digunakan untuk perancangan ulang membangun servis dari web yang sudah ada untuk peningkatan dan saran yang diusulkan dalam bentuk UML. Tujuan dari framework ini adalah peningkatan web service dengan menggabungakn teknik reverse engineering dan rekayasa perangkat lunak. Dengan menggunakan framework WA2WS diharapkan untuk memberi saran yang lebih baik untuk peningkatan dalam pembuatan web service dengan fungsi yang sama.   Kata kunci : perancangan ulang, Reverse Engineering, UML, Web, Framework WA2WS, informasi Balaikota Semarang.
