Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The manuscript title is written in both English and Indonesian, concise (12–15 words), informative, and does not contain formulas or abbreviations.
- Author names are written in full without academic titles, and include complete affiliations, postal codes, telephone numbers, and email addresses.
- Abstracts are written in both Indonesian and English, consist of 150–200 words, and include 3–5 relevant keywords.
- The manuscript follows the correct structure: Title Page, Article Info, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement (if applicable), and References.
- The introduction explains the background, research significance, brief literature review, and study objectives.
- The methods section clearly describes the research design, materials, procedures, and data analysis.
- The results and discussion present data effectively using tables or figures, interpret findings, and highlight the scientific contribution.
- The conclusion summarizes the research findings and their implications in a single paragraph.
- The acknowledgement section includes contributors not listed as authors and identifies sources of funding.
- References are formatted using the Vancouver style, managed with citation tools such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero, and consist of at least 80% recent journal articles (within the last 10 years).
- The manuscript file is prepared in Microsoft Word (.docx) using the official DMJ template and submitted through the journal’s online system (OJS).
- The manuscript has been checked for similarity using Turnitin, with a score of less than 20%.
- The research adheres to ethical standards, including the Declaration of Helsinki for human studies and CIOMS guidelines for animal research.
- The author confirms that the submission fulfills all the above requirements and is ready for peer review.

Authors are required to attach three essential documents during submission:
(1) a Turnitin similarity report (similarity score below 20%),
(2) a signed Plagiarism-Free Statement, and
(3) a signed Publication Ethics Statement as part of the submission requirements for Dian Medical Journal.
