Author Guidelines

  • Download the Journal Template.
  • The manuscript is the result of research or review, is not plagiarized, is not being reviewed in another journal, has never been published, and is submitted as one Word file according to the journal template. 
  • Submissions to journals are in English and uploaded to OJS JIMAT, where the author must previously register with OJS JIMAT.
  • The submission, review and publication process takes around 1 to 4 months (usually the review results will appear a maximum of a month before the publication schedule).
  • The process of submitting and reviewing articles is free of article processing charge (APC). If the article is accepted, there is no an APC (Free APC). A Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is only given if the article status has been accepted.
  • Before being sent for review, manuscripts must be checked for similarities using Turnitin. Papers will pass if the similarity is a maximum of 20%, not including the bibliography.
  • Article cancellation can be done via email editorial.jimat@gmail.com. If the article is still in the review and revision stage, the article will be returned to the author at no charge. However, if the article status has been accepted, the author will be subject to a fine of USD 100. If an article has been published, it cannot be canceled unless there are serious problems such as plagiarism, SARA violations, etc.

Authors who publish their articles in this journal agree to the following conditions:

  • Copyright remains with the author and gives the JIMAT journal the right as first priority to publish the article under a Creative Commons Attribution License which allows articles to be shared with acknowledgment of the author of the article and this journal as the place of publication.
  • Authors can distribute their published articles non-exclusively (for example: in university repositories or in books) with notification or acknowledgment of publication in JIMAT.
  • Authors are permitted to list their work online (for example: on a personal website or in a university repository) before and after the submission process (see The Effect of Open Access).
