Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). // Naskah belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. NOT PDF or other uneditable format. // File naskah dalam format Microsoft Word (BUKAN PDF).
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal. // Teks mengikuti persyaratan gaya dan bibliografi dalam Panduan Penulis.
  • The manuscript has been screened for plagiarism using Turnitin and meets the similarity index requirement (max 25%). // Naskah telah diperiksa plagiarisme menggunakan Turnitin (maksimal 25%).

Author Guidelines

English

  1. General Requirements: Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis (JEKOBS) must be original, have not been published, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  2. Language: Manuscripts may be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using standard and academic grammar.

  3. Template: All submissions must strictly follow the JEKOBS Template.

  4. Article Structure:

    • Title: Concise, informative, and reflective of the research (Max 15 words).

    • Abstract: 150-250 words, clearly stating the research objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusion.

    • Keywords: 3-5 relevant terms.

    • Introduction: Background, research motivation, theoretical framework, and objectives.

    • Methods: Research design, data sources, variables, and analysis techniques.

    • Results and Discussion: Systematic presentation of empirical results and critical analysis of findings.

    • Conclusion: Summary of findings and research recommendations.

  5. References and Citation:

    • Authors must use APA Style 7th Edition.

    • Submissions must use a Reference Manager (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote).

    • At least 80% of references must be from scientific journals published within the last 10 years.

  6. Plagiarism Policy: All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. The maximum allowed similarity index is 25%.

  7. Manuscript Formatting

    • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).

    • Page Size: A4 (210 x 297 mm).

    • Margins: 2.5 cm for all sides (Top, Bottom, Left, Right).

    • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt for body text.

    • Line Spacing: 1.15.

    • Tables & Figures: Must be placed within the text, not at the end. Titles for tables are placed above, and titles for figures are placed below.

    • Formulas: Use Microsoft Equation Editor (do not use images).

Bahasa Indonesia

  1. Persyaratan Umum: Naskah yang dikirimkan ke Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis (JEKOBS) harus asli, belum pernah dipublikasikan, dan tidak sedang dalam pertimbangan untuk dipublikasikan di tempat lain.

  2. Bahasa: Naskah dapat ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris atau Bahasa Indonesia dengan tata bahasa yang baku dan akademis.

  3. Template: Semua pengiriman naskah wajib mengikuti Template JEKOBS.

  4. Sistematika Artikel:

    • Judul: Ringkas, informatif, dan mencerminkan inti penelitian (Maksimal 15 kata).

    • Abstrak: 150-250 kata, menyatakan tujuan penelitian, metodologi, temuan utama, dan kesimpulan secara jelas.

    • Kata Kunci: 3-5 istilah yang relevan.

    • Pendahuluan: Latar belakang, motivasi penelitian, kerangka teori, dan tujuan.

    • Metode: Desain penelitian, sumber data, variabel, dan teknik analisis.

    • Hasil dan Pembahasan: Penyajian hasil empiris secara sistematis dan analisis kritis terhadap temuan.

    • Kesimpulan: Ringkasan temuan dan rekomendasi penelitian.

  5. Referensi dan Sitasi:

    • Penulis wajib menggunakan APA Style Edisi ke-7.

    • Wajib menggunakan aplikasi pengelola referensi (Contoh: Mendeley, Zotero, atau EndNote).

    • Minimal 80% referensi harus berasal dari jurnal ilmiah dalam 10 tahun terakhir.

  6. Kebijakan Plagiarisme: Semua naskah akan diperiksa idealismenya menggunakan Turnitin. Indeks kemiripan maksimal yang diizinkan adalah 25%.

  7. Format Manuskrip

    • Format File: Microsoft Word (.doc atau .docx).

    • Ukuran Halaman: A4 (210 x 297 mm).

    • Margin: 2,5 cm untuk semua sisi (Atas, Bawah, Kiri, Kanan).

    • Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt untuk isi teks.

    • Spasi Baris: 1.15.

    • Tabel & Gambar: Harus diletakkan di dalam teks (bukan di akhir). Judul tabel diletakkan di atas, dan judul gambar diletakkan di bawah.

    • Rumus: Gunakan Microsoft Equation Editor (jangan gunakan format gambar).
