Abstract

Jumlah kecelakaan di jalan raya selalu didominasi oleh sepeda motor. Tiga faktor yang menyebabkan kecelakaan tersebut adalah kesalahan pengendara, kendaraan dan lingkungan. Faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah kesalahan pengendara. Hal tersebut sering memicu kecelakaan. Dalam mengendarai kendaraan, pengendara cenderung untuk secepat mungkin sampai di tempat tujuan. Hal ini sering menyebabkan kecelakaan. Untuk mengurangi jumlah kecelakaan, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan membuat aplikasi game sebagai pelengkap dari buku dan teori tentang petunjuk lalu lintas dan konsultasi dari petugas. Aplikasi dalam bentuk game simulasi safe driving dirancang sedekat mungkin dengan metode berkendara yang benar. Aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan tips dan trik. Untuk membawa user pada simulasi berkendara ini, platform yang digunakan adalah tablet PC dengan sistem operasi Android yang memiliki fitur full multimedia sehingga pengguna akan merasakan sensasi dari simulasi.
