SISTEM INFORMASI PENGUMPUL TOL BERBASIS WEB PADA PT. JASA MARGA TBK CABANG SEMARANG

Abstract

Penyediaan jasa layanan tol merupakan kegiatan utama yang dilakukan di PT. Jasa Marga Tbk Cabang Semarang. Pada sistem yang berjalan di bagian pengumpul tol, proses kegiatan pelaporan pendapatan pengumpul tol belum dapat memanfaatkan teknologi komputer dengan baik. Dalam kegiatan pelaporan, laporan yang dihasilkan masih kurang realtime dan sulit dipahami oleh pihak manajemen. Permasalahan ini mengakibatkan tidak efektif dan tidak optimalnya kinerja perusahaan itu terhadap penyediaan informasi dan laporan yang dibutuhkan. Maka perlu dibangun sistem informasi pengumpul tol supaya dapat mengurangi resiko kesalahan dan lambatnya penyampaian informasi laporan pendapatan harian pengumpul tol. Adapun desain penelitian untuk memecahkan masalah di atas adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kasus, metode pengumpulan data dengan data primer dan data sekunder, metode pendekatan menggunakan terstruktur, metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu SDLC (System Development Life Cycles). Alat Bantu analisis sistem yang digunakan yaitu Flow of Document, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan Teknik Normalisasi. Sistem informasi ini berbasis web dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai databasenya. Dengan sistem informasi pengumpul tol yang berbasis web, informasi data pendapatan pengumpul tol dapat tersedia dengan cepat dan akurat serta dapat diakses dimana pun melalui internet. Dan dengan SDM yang memadai, sistem akan mampu berjalan lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Sistem, Informasi, Pengumpul Tol, Pendapatan Tol, Website, Online
