Analisis Emosi Warganet pada Komentar Youtube Tentang Demo DPR 2025 Menggunakan Naive Bayes

Demo DPR 2025 menimbulkan beragam reaksi di kalangan warganet yang terekspresikan melalui komentar di media sosial. Fenomena ini menghasilkan data komentar dalam jumlah besar dengan variasi ekspresi emosi yang beragam, sehingga menjadi sumber data yang relevan untuk menguji performa klasifikasi emosi pada data teks multikelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis emosi warganet terhadap demo tersebut menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes dengan memanfaatkan komentar YouTube yang telah dibersihkan dan dilabeli ke dalam lima kategori emosi: Marah, Netral, Sedih, Senang, dan Takut. Hasil awal menunjukkan akurasi sebesar 85%, dengan performa tinggi pada kelas mayoritas (Marah) dan (sedih) namun rendah pada kelas senang, takut dan Netral. Permasalahan ini menunjukkan adanya ketidakseimbangan kelas yang menyebabkan bias prediksi terhadap emosi tertentu, yang masih jarang dibahas dalam penelitian serupa pada konteks sosial-politik Indonesia. Untuk mengatasi gap tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) pada data training guna meningkatkan kemampuan model mengenali emosi minoritas. Setelah penerapan SMOTE, akurasi naik menjadi 89%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa SMOTE mampu memperbaiki ketimpangan performa model tanpa bergantung pada akurasi keseluruhan. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada penerapan SMOTE dalam analisis emosi warganet terhadap isu sosial-politik aktual di Indonesia, sehingga menghasilkan model yang lebih seimbang dan representatif dalam memahami persepsi publik di media sosial.
