Sistem Pendeteksi Hewan Perusak Lahan Pertanian Berbasis ESP32-CAM dan Sensor PIR Dengan Energi Surya

Kerusakan lahan pertanian akibat hewan ternak yang dilepasliarkan masih menjadi permasalahan yang sering terjadi di Kabupaten Sumbawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pendeteksi hewan perusak lahan pertanian berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan ESP32-CAM, sensor PIR, teknologi deteksi objek YOLOv8, dan energi surya. Sistem bekerja dengan mendeteksi gerakan menggunakan sensor PIR dan melakukan verifikasi objek menggunakan YOLOv8 melalui VPS server berbasis Flask. Apabila objek terdeteksi sebagai sapi, sistem akan mengirimkan notifikasi Telegram dan mengaktifkan alarm otomatis. Sistem juga mendukung mode offline ketika koneksi internet terputus. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi objek sapi dengan tingkat keberhasilan sekitar 80% pada jarak efektif 5–8 meter. Selain itu, sistem tenaga surya mampu mendukung operasional perangkat secara mandiri selama proses pengujian berlangsung. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi IoT, computer vision, dan energi surya dapat diterapkan sebagai sistem keamanan otomatis untuk membantu petani dalam memantau dan mengurangi gangguan hewan pada lahan pertanian.
