INFOGRAFIS SEBAGAI BAHASA VISUAL PADA SURAT KABAR TEMPO

Infografis merupakan sebuah bahasa visual yang sering kita jumpai pada surat kabar.  Komunikasi dengan menggunakan gambar, membuat seseorang dapat memahami informasi yang ingin disampaikan pembuatnya. Penyampaian informasi yang berkembang melalui sebuah gambar, membuat pesan yang disampaikan, akan lebih bersifat kronologis seperti kejadian di lapangan, dan gambar bisa membuat pembaca seolah-olah hadir pada peristiwa itu, sehingga kabar peristiwa tersebut mudah untuk disampaikan kepada orang lain. Selain itu infografis pada surat kabar memiliki daya tarik tersendiri tanpa mengurangi kredibilitas berita tersebut. Kata kunci : Infografis, Surat Kabar, berita.
