IMPLEMENTASI DATA MINING MENGGUNAKAN METODE DESKRIPSI UNTUK MENEMUKAN POLA ABSENSI DI BADAN KEPEGAWAIAN DAERAH KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

Pada saat ini, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) sudah berkembang sangat pesat. Pemanfaatan TIK tidak hanya dibutuhkan pada perusahaan saja, melainkan sangat berguna untuk badan atau organisasi milik negara yang dapat menunjang proses kegiatan yang terjadi di dalamnya. Absensi adalah tingkat kehadiran pegawai yang berkenaan dengan tanggung jawab. Dalam rangka meningkatkan penertiban administrasi kepegawaian khususnya pencatatan kehadiran pegawai di lingkungan Kota Semarang, setiap Pegawai Negeri Sipil harus masuk kerja dan menaati jam kerja. Metode deskripsi digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan pola absensi pegawai. Dengan menggunakan metode deskipsi, dapat menemukan pola absensi yang terjadi di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Semarang. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan informasi absensi pegawai dan grafik absensi setiap periode, sehingga membantu Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Semarang dalam memonitoring absensi pegawai. Aplikasi pada penelitian ini diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Borland Delphi 7.0 dan database MySQL Kata Kunci: Absensi, Metode Deskripsi, Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi
