GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
Journal of Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety accepts research articles that have never been published.
A. Form of Research Article
The research articles should be typed 1 space on one page on A4 paper, Times New Roman format, 12 font size with margins of all 2.5 cm edges. Number of pages between 5-10 pages, exclude abstract, tables, figures/diagram and references. Tables and figures maximum 8. No footnotes are allowed. The format are two columns. The articles can be written in English. All articles will be judged by two reviewers appointed by the editor.
B. Organization of Scientific Article
Original Article, Literature Review and Case Report
1. Title
The title should be concise and clear. Strived for no more than 12 words. Under the title should be the name of the author (or the authors). Under the author's name, the name of the author's institution is listed.
2. Abstract
Abstracts are written in English and Indonesian, between 200-250 words, made concise and clear so easily understood readers without having to read the entire contents of the paper. Keywords are written after the abstract is 1 spaced from the last sentences. The abstract contains introduction, research objectives, methods, main results and main conclusions.
3. Introductions
Introduction contains backgrounds, core issues, and research objectives.
4. Methods
Methods contains an explanation of the research design, location and time, population, sampling methods, research variables, data collection and data analysis. In this section, it is also explained that this research has received an ethical certificate from the ethics committee and the number of the ethics certificate is written down.
5. Result
This section contains the results of research submitted in the form of narration, tables, and or images and statistical test results with explanation without discussion. Table title is written on it while the title of the image is written underneath it.
6. Discussion
Discussion is not a rewrite of the results of the study, but should contain a brief summary of key research results, supporting arguments, discussion of other relevant published research results and the contribution of findings to the enrichment and development of science and technology for the community.
7. Conclusion
The conclusion contains a brief statement of the findings in response to problem formulation and purpose.
8. Conflict of Interest
The authors declare that there is no significant competing financial, professional, or personal interests that might have affected the performance.
9. Authors' Contribution
It is explained about individual author contributions. All authors declare that they are participating actively in research and article writing and partly responsible for the content of writing, including in the preparation and writing of concepts, designs, analysis, or revision of the article. The role(s) of all authors should be listed. Example: PA: Conceptualization, Methodology, Software. SA: Data curation, Writing- Original draft preparation. SH: Visualization, Investigation. AK: Software, Validation.: YK: Writing- Reviewing and Editing.
10. Acknowledgements
The acknowledgements section explain the source of funding in this research. Gratitude and appreciation to the parties involved in this research.
11. References
The bibliography is written in alphabetical order using Harvard Style rules. The bibliography contains only the references cited in the article. All references cited in the article should be included in the bibliography. In order to maintain consistency of referrals, citation and bibliography we suggest using standard reference applications such as Mendeley. Standard reference using "Harvard reference format 1”.
NOTES :
1. All scientific articles are checked plagiarism through TURNITIN software 2 times that is the first time journal entry and after journal got review from reviewer. The results of checking plagiarism through software TURNITIN maximum 20%, AI maxmimum 20%.
2. Articles will be Rejected if in three months there is no progress.
3. File are submitted in docx or doc form.
4. To ensure the highest quality of publication, you are required to attach a Proofread Certificate from any proofreading service of your choice. This must be uploaded as a supplementary file during the submission process. If your manuscript is officially accepted for publication, you must submit a final Proofread Certificate issued specifically by a licensed/professional proofreading service before the final production stage.
