About the Journal

The Journal of Intelligent Computing and Cybersecurity (JICOMX) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by  Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (UDINUS), Semarang, Indonesia, Collaborates with the AI in Data Security Research Team under Intelligent Distributed Surveillance and Security (IDSS) dedicated to disseminating research in the field of Computer Science.

Focus and Scope
JICOMX publishes original research articles in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Intelligent Systems, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Blockchain, Digital Forensics, Cryptography, and Human-Centered Computing.

Publication Frequency
JICOMX is published biannually, in January and July.

Open Access Policy
JICOMX provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Copyright Notice
Authors who publish with JICOMX retain copyright of their work and grant the journal right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under CC BY 4.0, allowing others to copy, distribute, and transmit the work in any medium or format, and for any purpose (including commercial use), provided appropriate credit is given to the original authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by the JICOMX Reviewer Team, comprising scholars from national and international institutions, including Indonesia, Jordan, and Malaysia.

Editorial Team
JICOMX's editorial operations are managed by an Editorial Team consisting of an Advisory Board, Editor-in-Chief, Section Editor, Editors, Copy Editor, and Layout Editor, with cross-institutional membership including partners from Taiwan and Malaysia.

Editorial Management
The journal is fully managed through an online, digital-based system using Open Journal Systems (OJS) to support transparency and efficiency throughout the editorial workflow, from submission to publication.

Journal History
JICOMX was established in 2026 by the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro, as a scholarly publication platform relevant to the advancement of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, both nationally and internationally.
