TRANSLATION STRATEGY OF ANALYZING THE SONG “MINE” IN ENGLISH AND INDONESIAN VERSION
Abstract
This study aims to examine the translation strategy used in the song "Mine".
Song lyrics are arranged in rows as the data. A framework created by Kerström (2009) and Chesterman (2016) was used for the analysis of translation strategies. A qualitative descriptive analysis was used to examine the study’s data. According to the research findings, there are seven translation strategies that were utilized when the translator decided to analyze the song lyrics line by line.
