About the Journal

JOINS (Journal of Information System) is a peer-reviewed national journal that emphasizes the theory, research, and intellectual development of information systems in organizations, institutions, the economy, and society. The journal is published by Faculty of Intelligent Technology, Universitas Dian Nuswantoro. e-ISSN: 2528-0236 | p-ISSN: 2528-0228.

Publication Frequency
JOINS is published four (4) times a year, in January, April, July, and October, starting from 2027. Articles are published in the order in which they complete the review and editing process. There is no submission deadline.

Language
Manuscripts are accepted in Indonesian or English.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts first go through an initial screening by the editors (including a plagiarism check with Turnitin and a check of compliance with the author guidelines). Manuscripts that pass are reviewed anonymously (double-blind) by reviewers appointed by the editors according to their expertise. Reviewers assess: (1) contribution to the research subject, (2) originality and novelty, (3) suitability of the abstract, (4) clarity of structure and presentation, (5) completeness and currency of references, (6) language and grammar, and (7) other aspects. The decision (accepted, revisions required, or rejected) is sent by email, and authors are expected to submit their revisions promptly.

Open Access Policy
JOINS is an open access journal. All content is freely available to the public without charge. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), and authors retain copyright.

Publication Fees
Submission and review are free of charge. An article processing charge of Rp250,000 per article is payable after the manuscript is accepted.

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy
JOINS is committed to publication ethics. Manuscripts must be original, free of plagiarism (similarity below 20%, excluding the bibliography), and must not be published or under review elsewhere. See the Publication Ethics page for details.

Accreditation and Indexing
JOINS is accredited as a national journal (SINTA 4) and is indexed in DOAJ (since April 8, 2019).
