Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The author has read and understands the focus and scope of this journal.
  • Plagiarism checks will be conducted by the journal editor using Turnitin.
  • The article is written according to the specified writing guidelines. The template for writing can be downloaded from the Download Template menu.
  • The author has used software like Mendeley or Zotero to manage references (citations and bibliography).
  • The article file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx) with a maximum size of 2 MB.
  • All authors' names and their order have been correctly listed.

Author Guidelines

  1. The manuscript is the result of research in the field of Artificial Intelligence, not plagiarism (will be checked using Turnitin) and has never been published.
  2. Authors are strongly advised to use software such as Mendeley and Zotero to manage references (citations and bibliographies) in IEEE style.
  3. Article submissions are made through this site. Authors are required to have an account to be able to submit articles. If the author does not have an account, they can register in the Register menu. When filling out the registration form, don't forget to select the role as Author. After the author has an account, they can log in then click New Submission, then follow the steps. The thing to note is that the article is in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx) with a maximum size of 2 MB.
  4. Everything related to the licensing citations or use of computer software for the creation of a script or other particulars relating to intellectual property rights conducted by the authors of the article, the following legal consequences that might arise, therefore, be the sole responsibility of the author.
  5. The manuscript is written in English language and in accordance with the instructions of writing that has been determined. Template for writing can be downloaded in the Download Template menu.
  6. Each year, there are three (3) periods of journal publishing. April (1), August (2) and December (3). The submission of manuscripts must be made no later than one month before the issue of the publication.
  7. All manuscripts are reviewed by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their field of expertise. Certainty of publication/rejection of the manuscript will be notified in writing via email. The review process takes about 1 to 3 months (usually the review results will appear a maximum of one month before the publication schedule). There are 3 types of review results, namely: accepted, revised, or rejected. If there is a revision, the author is given two weeks to make improvements (revise) the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from the reviewer and editor. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is only given if the article status has been accepted.
  8. Emails from the editor sometimes go to spam. Therefore, authors are advised to check the spam folder in their email or routinely monitor the status of the article on their journal account.
  9. Please upload revisions in the Review - Upload Author Version menu. Article revisions that are not uploaded in that section will be considered not revised.
  10. All articles published in this journal are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication.
  11. The article submission and review process is free of charge. If the article is accepted, there is an online publication fee of IDR 400,000 or USD 20. Because the Techno.COM journal is open access (published articles can be accessed for free by anyone), the online publication fee will be used to support journal operations such as site maintenance, DOI, and so on. However, if the author cannot pay the fee, the author can notify the journal editor and we will provide assistance / relief / exemption from fees for the author.
  12. Provisions for cancellation of articles that have been submitted: Notification of article cancellation can be made via email at journal.jais@gmail.com. If the article is still in the review and revision process, the article will be returned to the author and will not be charged any fees. However, if the article status has been accepted, the author will be subject to a fine of IDR 1,000,000 or 100 USD. Once an article has been published, it cannot be cancelled unless there are serious problems such as plagiarism, SARA violations, etc.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
