Focus and Scope

VISKES is a Health Journal published by the Faculty of Health, Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang, with the scope of knowledge: health promotion, epidemiology, biostatistics, health information management, nutrition science, health policy and administration, occupational health and safety, Health Entomology, Environmental Sanitation, Environmental health microbiologist, Environmental Bioremediation and Environmental Impact Analysis Visikes is a peer-reviewed journal. This journal follows the guidelines of the National Health Research and Development Ethics Commission to handle research cases and publication errors. This statement describes the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal in an open-access manner by peer review. Prevention of publication malpractice is one of the important responsibilities of the editorial board. Any kind of unethical behavior is unacceptable, and does not tolerate plagiarism of any kind. In this section, we describe the standards for editors, writers, and reviewers. The publisher has no right to interfere with the integrity of the content and only supports timely publishing.

For Editors

Based on the editorial review board's review report, the editor can accept, reject, or request modifications to the manuscript. Editors must be responsible for each article published and can communicate with other editors or reviewers in making final decisions. An editor must objectively evaluate manuscripts for publication, judging each based on its quality regardless of the author's nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation. should refuse his assignment when there is a potential conflict of interest. Editors and all staff must ensure the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts..

For Reviewers

Reviewers need to comment on ethical questions and possible research violations. Reviewers will do the work on time and must notify the editor if they are unable to complete the work. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript. Reviewers should not accept to review manuscripts where there is a potential conflict of interest

For Author

The authors confirm that the material has not been previously published and that they have not transferred any rights to the article elsewhere. Authors must ensure the authenticity of the work and that they have properly cited the work of others according to the reference format. The author may not commit plagiarism or self-plagiarism, the author may not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. Authors are also expected not to publish redundant manuscripts or manuscripts describing the same research in more than one journal. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, conduct, or interpretation of the reported study. The author also ensures that all authors have seen and approved the submitted version of the manuscript and the inclusion of their names as co-authors. The author must provide the editor with data and details of the work if there is any suspicion of falsification or falsification of data. If at any time, the author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in the submitted manuscript, such errors or inaccuracies must be reported to the editor.

Peer Review Process

Each article submitted to the Visikes Editor will be checked on the suitability of the format and scope with the Journal of Visikes, then a peer review will be conducted with at least 2 reviewers in accordance with the scope of the scholarship / topic. The results of the review will be returned to the author and the author must make a revision. If the repair is enough to meet the rules to be loaded then the article will go into the next process, but if not yet the editor will return the article to the author for repairs again. Each worthy ellel must also meet the permissible equality limit of 25%


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
