Abstract

Kata Kunci: aplikasi, coparenting, Duet, UI/UX, user centered design AbstractThis research aims to design a "Duet" coparenting application that adopts a user-centered design approach, facilitating collaborative child-rearing among parents in Indonesia. The main context of this research is the evolution of the modern family structure, which has undergone a significant shift due to the increasing number of working mothers. Additionally, this study specifically focuses on parents who still live together without experiencing divorce or being in a long-distance marriage. The study spans three years and combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Needs analysis involves Focus Group Discussions and quantitative data collection to unearth parental requirements. The application's development encompasses an intuitive interface design and features such as a scheduling calendar and educational articles. Preliminary trials indicate users find the application user-friendly and experience benefits in collaborative parenting. Expert validation confirms the quality of design, content, and application structure. Extensive large-scale testing demonstrates a high level of user satisfaction. This research contributes to an innovative technological solution that enhances more effective coparenting in Indonesia, with a focus on user preferences. The Duet application is anticipated to assist parents in establishing a positive coparenting relationship, profoundly impacting children's development.  Keywords: coparenting, Duet, mobile application, UI/UX, user centered design
