PENGARUH TECHNOLOGICAL CAPITAL TERHADAP NILAI PERUSAHAAN

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan banyak perubahan khususnya dalam penggunaan teknologi sehingga tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji apakah kemampuan pengelolaan teknologi atau technological capital dapat meningkatkan nilai perusahaan. Technological capital diajukan sebagai keterbaruan untuk menambah variabel pengukuran selain ranking dari pihak ketiga, biaya riset dan nilai hak kekayaan intelektual. Dengan menggunakan 220 observasi laporan tahunan perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia dari 2015 – 2020, hasilnya menunjukan technological capital berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan artinya hasil adaptasi terhadap teknologi dan adanya latar belakang pendidikan teknologi / teknik direksi mampu meningkatkan apresiasi investor karena memberikan ruang bertumbuh dan berinovasi, tercipta efisiensi dalam kegiatan, serta kemampuan memprediksi perkembangan teknologi di masa datang. Keterbatasan penelitian ini ialah pengungkapan technological capital tidak absolut mencerminkan keadaan sesungguhnya di perusahaan tersebut sehingga diperlukan metode lain sebagai pelengkap contoh jumlah personil yang terlibat dalam pengembangan teknologi, jumlah penghargaan teknologi yang diterima dan lainnya.
