Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of natural resources in influencing domestictourist visits to the Green Kayen Tourism Village Yogyakarta, located in Kayen, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman, DIY. So that it provides an impact that includes economic, social,and environmental aspects to support a more sustainable tourism village. The researchmethod used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation,interviews, and documentation. The respondents to be taken are the number of visitorswho come and are encountered each month, as well as data and information onmanagers and support from the local community in the Green Kayen Tourism Village.The classification of visitor respondents taken is everyone who comes for the purposeof traveling with a demographic analysis that is determined including female and malegender with an estimated age of 3-70 years. The results of the study indicate that thepotential of natural resources in Green Kayen Tourism Village, such as clear rivers,natural forests that have a strong attraction for domestic tourists. The community invarious levels is now not only for certain groups, so that its management must becarried out effectively and involve related parties. In addition, accessibility factors,supporting facilities, and tourism needs for the community in addition to achieving allthe objectives of developing natural tourism potential in Green Kayen Tourism Villagein particular. This study concludes that optimizing the potential of natural resourceswith sustainable management and maximizing the potential of effective naturalresources can increase domestic tourist visits to Green Kayen Tourism Village. Researchrecommendations include improving infrastructure, developing educational tourismpackages, and empowering local communities to support sustainable tourism.
