MENERJEMAHKAN SENI LOWBROW KE DALAM IDENTITAS VISUAL MAHAVISUAL STUDIO

Seni Lowbrow yang pada awalnya diremehkan, kini menjadi bagian dari budaya populer bernilai transaksi tinggi. Tingginya peminat terhadap seni Lowbrow membuka peluang bagi Mahavisual Studio untuk menjadi pihak ketiga yang menjembatani brand, seniman, dan masyarakat. Kredibilitas menjadi nilai yang penting bagi Mahavisual Studio sehingga perlu membangun impresi yang profesional, salah satunya melalui identitas visual. Meskipun demikian, saat ini identitas visual dari Mahavisual Studio masih didefinisikan oleh senimannya. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini menganalisis seni Lowbrow dalam karya Mahavisual Studio menggunakan pendekatan metodologi visual dan semiotika untuk menemukan pemaknaan yang tepat sebagai landasan konsep identitas visual Mahavisual Studio. Berdasarkan pemaknaan tersebut kemudian disusun sebuah strategi guna memperkuat positioning Mahavisual Studio di industri kreatif Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa seni Lowbrow adalah esensi dari Mahavisual Studio. Temuan tersebut dapat diwujudkan dengan pendekatan untuk menghadirkan seni yang inklusif dan mudah dinikmati lintas kalangan.References
