KEINDAHAN YANG TIDAK TERSENTUH PADA FILM PERFECT DAYS

Wim Wenders melalui karya film terbarunya yang berjudul Perfect Days (2023), menawarkan pengalaman sehari-hari yang dibungkus dalam bahasa visual yang penuh dengan tatapan kebaikan atau ia sebut sebagai “peaceful” gaze. Penelitian bertujuan menginvestigasi estetika sehari-hari yang muncul di film Perfect Days yang ditampilkan senafas dengan estetika tradisional Jepang yaitu wabi-sabi yang dianalisis menggunakan teori Cinema of desire atau sinema hasrat, dari Todd McGowan. Metode penelitian memakai deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengkaji objek masalah yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan psikoanalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesimpulan bahwa objek a dalam film Perfect Days (2023) ini muncul dari mise en scene dan musik, karena dua unsur filmis ini memberikan dorongan untuk mendapatkan momen guna mengetahui hasrat yang hilang. Estetika sehari-hari sekaligus menjadi object A pada film Perfect Days ini dibagi menjadi tiga bagian yang menawarkan makna dan keterwakilan hasrat terkait: keindahan akan waktu, romantisme trauma dan kehilangan, dan nihilnya akan dorongan material.References
