ANALISA FAKTOR USER EXPERIENCE “SENSE-AWARE” PADA PENGALAMAN INTERAKSI ANAK AUTIS SPECTRUM DISORDER DENGAN PLATFORM YOUTUBE KIDS

Teknologi berperan penting dalam komunikasi, pembelajaran, dan interaksi sosial anak dengan ASD, salah satunya melalui YouTube Kids yang menyediakan konten sesuai gaya belajar mereka. Namun, meningkatnya diagnosis ASD di Indonesia menimbulkan kekhawatiran terkait keamanan dan kenyamanan penggunaan platform tersebut. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi sejauh mana YouTube Kids ramah bagi pengguna dengan ASD, khususnya dalam aspek “sense-aware” dalam interaksi manusia-komputer. Hal ini penting mengingat anak-anak dengan ASD sering mengalami sensitivitas sensori di seluruh lima panca indera. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara online dan observasi lapangan secara online dengan enam anak berusia 6 -12 tahun dengan tingkat ASD level 1 dan 2. Temuan penelitian ini menyoroti aspek pengalaman pengguna YouTube Kids yang sejalan dengan faktor-faktor UX sense-aware seperti tata letak dan bahasa. Namun, masih ada area yang memerlukan perbaikan, dalam hal grafis, audio, dan pengelolaan sensori. Beberapa fitur YouTube Kids tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan ASD, seperti penggunaan warna terang yang berlebihan, iklan yang muncul tiba-tiba, kebisingan tinggi, dan suara yang cepat. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, penelitian ini merekomendasikan panduan bagi para desainer untuk meningkatkan interaksi manusia-komputer bagi anak-anak dengan ASD. Studi ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan inklusivitas di dunia digital, meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna untuk anak-anak dengan ASD.References
