Moreover, the development of digital transformation and the adoption of digital-based technologies in human resource management require organizations to manage talent more adaptively and innovatively to enhance employee performance. However, studies examining the relationships among talent management, job satisfaction, employee retention, and employee performance simultaneously within the context of digital transformation remain limited, especially in Indonesia’s manufacturing sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of talent management on employee performance in the era of digital transformation, with job satisfaction and employee retention serving as mediating variables. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The study involved 225 employees from manufacturing companies that had implemented digital systems in human resource management, selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction, and employee retention. Job satisfaction and employee retention also positively and significantly affect employee performance. Furthermore, both variables significantly mediate the relationship between talent management and employee performance, indicating partial mediation. These findings demonstrate that digital-based talent management can enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty, thereby improving employee performance. Therefore, companies are encouraged to optimize digital talent management through digital competency development, technology-based training, adaptive career systems, and competitive compensation. Future research is recommended to incorporate variables such as digital organizational culture, work engagement, and technological readiness to broaden the understanding of digital transformation in human resource management.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17012Does Internet Penetration Reduce Youth Unemployment? Using an unbalanced panel dataset covering 13 countries over the period 2006–2024, the study employs Random Effects and Robust Random Effects estimators to investigate how internet expansion influences youth labor market outcomes. The results reveal a significant nonlinear relationship between internet penetration and youth unemployment. Higher levels of internet usage are initially associated with lower youth unemployment; however, the unemployment-reducing effect gradually weakens as internet penetration increases, indicating diminishing marginal returns. Turning point analysis suggests that the beneficial effects of internet expansion are maximized at approximately 65.3% internet penetration in the baseline relationship. The findings also reveal significant regional heterogeneity. The impact of internet penetration differs in Gulf economies, where the estimated turning point occurs at approximately 23.7%, indicating distinct digitalization–employment dynamics compared with other Asian countries. Among the control variables, GDP per capita exhibits a positive association with youth unemployment, while inflation and education are not statistically significant. The study contributes to the literature by jointly examining nonlinear and regional effects within a unified panel-data framework. The findings suggest that expanding internet access alone is insufficient to sustainably reduce youth unemployment and should be complemented by policies that strengthen digital skills, labor market adaptability, and productive digital engagement among young workers.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/16290The Influence Of Social Media Marketing And Physical Evidence On Purchase Decisions Through Brand Image And Fear Of Missing Out (Fomo) In Coffee Shops In Bali2026-06-23T22:49:19+00:00Dewa Nyoman Wahyu Ariana Dewadewaw898@gmail.comNi Luh Putu Diah Karuna DelimagataDelimagata222@gmail.comNi Wayan Wulan Prawerti Supartaniwayan@gmail.comKafti Paradika Purnomopurnomo44@gmail.comNi Putu Sinta Maharanimaharani22@gmail.comTeuku Sultan RizkyRizky65@gmail.com
The rapid growth of the coffee shop industry in Bali has intensified competition, requiring businesses to adopt effective marketing strategies to influence consumer purchase decisions. Drawing upon the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework, this research conceptualizes content creator attributes and content quality as external stimuli that influence internal psychological states, namely perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction, which subsequently shape purchase intention. Unlike prior studies that investigate influencer characteristics or content quality separately, this study integrates both constructs within a unified framework and extends the S-O-R model by incorporating psychological mediating mechanisms. Data were collected from 250 Indonesian social media users who had been exposed to influencer content related to Yamaha Fazzio and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings indicate that content creator attributes positively and significantly affect perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction, while content quality positively and significantly influences parasocial interaction but does not significantly affect perceived authenticity. Furthermore, perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction were found to positively and significantly influence purchase intention, with parasocial interaction emerging as the strongest predictor. This study contributes theoretically by extending the S-O-R framework and empirically confirming the mediating roles of perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction in influencer marketing for high-involvement products. Managerially, the findings suggest that firms should prioritize credible content creators, authentic communication, and emotionally engaging content strategies rather than relying solely on influencer popularity to strengthen consumer purchase intention.

Keywords: Content Creator Attributes, Content Quality, Perceived Authenticity, Parasocial Interaction, Purchase Intention.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/16709The Antecedents of Brand Equity: Sustainability and Others Modern Factors - A Systematic Literature Review2026-06-23T13:59:58+00:00Emilda Surisurimustafa2004@gmail.comI Gusti Agung Eka Teja Kusumakusuma882@gmail.comNi Wayan Eka Mitarianimitariani33@gmail.com I Gusti Ayu Imbayaniimbayani22@gmail.com
Abstract:

The increasing complexity of global markets, rapid digitalization, and rising consumer demand for sustainable practices have reshaped the foundations of brands. equity . This study aims to examine how sustainable business practices contribute to Green Economy growth and to identify the key mechanisms through which these practices promote sustainable economic development. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using a qualitative descriptive approach. Relevant literature was retrieved from Scopus, Google Scholar, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) using predefined keywords related to sustainable business practices, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Green Economy. Publications published between 2021 and 2025 were screened based on relevance, quality, and thematic suitability, resulting in 42 studies included in the final review. The findings demonstrate that sustainable business practices, particularly environmental management, social responsibility, and governance, significantly enhance resource efficiency, stimulate innovation, improve operational performance, strengthen stakeholder value, and reduce systemic risks, thereby supporting Green Economy growth. The novelty of this study lies in the development of an integrative analytical framework that systematically explains the relationship between firm-level sustainable business practices and macro-level Green Economy growth through four interconnected mechanisms: innovation-driven value creation, operational cost optimization, stakeholder value enhancement, and systemic risk mitigation. The study contributes theoretically by extending the sustainability and Green Economy literature through a comprehensive conceptual framework that clarifies the pathways linking ESG dimensions to sustainable economic transformation. However, administrative welfare datasets generally contain mixed-type attributes consisting of numerical and categorical variables, creating challenges in similarity measurement and beneficiary segmentation. This study evaluates several hybrid distance formulations within an Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering framework for social assistance segmentation using administrative welfare data obtained from the Social Affairs Office of Bima Regency, Indonesia, with a focus on Bolo District. Data preprocessing was conducted through data cleaning, normalization, categorical transformation, and feature selection. The clustering features consisted of assessment score, number of dependents, household income, housing ownership, head-of-household occupation, and education level. The existing assistance status was excluded from the clustering features and used only for external validation. Several distance configurations were compared, including Pure Gower, Euclidean-Gower, Manhattan-Gower, Chebyshev-Gower, Cosine-Gower, and Ensemble Hybrid. Cluster performance was evaluated using Silhouette Score, Davies-Bouldin Index, Calinski-Harabasz Index, Adjusted Rand Index, and Normalized Mutual Information. The experimental results show that the Cosine-Gower configuration produced the best clustering performance with alpha = 0.9, K = 3, complete linkage, and a Silhouette Score of 0.465. The final model generated three interpretable beneficiary segments representing different socio-economic vulnerability patterns. This study examines disclosure quality and longitudinal trends of sustainability reports published by Indonesia's four Kelompok Bank Berdasarkan Modal Inti 4 (KBMI 4) BRI, BCA, MANDIRI, and BNI over 2023–2025. Using a qualitative content analysis adapted from the Wallace (1988) Disclosure Level Index and extending Azizah and Widiyati (2025), 126 indicators spanning GRI 2 (General), GRI 3 (Material Topics), GRI 200 (Economic), GRI 300 (Environmental), GRI 400 (Social), and the GRI G4 Financial Services Supplement were scored on a binary basis. The Disclosure Level Index (DLI) was computed as I = n/k × 100%. Results show overall DLI improved from 75.79% (2023) to 82.74% (2024), moderating to 80.75% (2025), with a grand mean of 79.76%. At the bank level, BNI consistently recorded the highest DLI (up to 92.06% in 2024), while BCA remained lowest (67.46%–71.43%). GRI 2 and GRI G4 indicators achieved nearperfect scores (93.33%–100%), reflecting strong governance compliance. In contrast, GRI 300 Environmental disclosures showed the widest variation, ranging from 33.33% (BCA 2023) to 96.67% (BNI 2024), indicating heterogeneity in environmental maturity. Grounded in legitimacy, stakeholder, institutional, and signaling theory, these patterns reflect differential responses to regulatory pressures, industry norms, and peer influences. High-value products, such as premium automobiles, luxury electronics, and advanced technological goods, demand substantial consumer involvement and financial commitment, making purchase intention highly sensitive to perceptions of innovation. This study conducts a systematic literature review synthesizing ten international peer-reviewed journal articles, published between 2020 and 2025, to examine how innovation shapes consumer purchase intention toward high-value products. The findings reveal that product, technological, design, and service innovation consistently strengthen perceived quality, perceived value, brand trust, and ultimately purchase intention, although this influence operates predominantly through indirect psychological mechanisms rather than a direct effect. Nevertheless, prior studies show considerable inconsistency regarding the magnitude of innovation's impact across different product categories and consumer segments, alongside a pronounced concentration of research in developed economies. The accumulation of work pressure, cognitive load, work-life imbalance, and the emergence of new phenomena such as techno-stress, after-hours connectivity, AI awareness, and quiet quitting have made employee retention a strategic priority across sectors and industries. This study aims to synthesize empirical evidence regarding the antecedents and consequences of these four constructs, map the most consistent mediating and moderating variables, analyze cross-sector contributions, and identify research gaps to formulate a follow-up research agenda. The study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with the PRISMA 2020 protocol and the PICOS framework as guides to formulate structured study eligibility criteria. Searches were conducted in Scopus, Web of Science, and EBSCO databases for the publication period 2020–2026 using Boolean combinations of main keywords, resulting in 50 final articles meeting inclusion criteria after passing through four PRISMA selection stages. Quality appraisal utilized the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT) and AMSTAR 2 instruments, while synthesis was carried out narratively and thematically. The results identified five main themes: (1) job demands and stressors as consistent triggers of burnout and emotional exhaustion; (2) job resources, servant and transformational leadership, perceived organizational support, sustainable employability, healthy spirituality, and psychological capital as protective factors that enhance engagement; (3) burnout as a central mediating mechanism leading to turnover intention, with additional mediators such as psychological contract breach, sense of coherence, and work-life balance; (4) the relevance of findings across the health, hospitality, higher education, information technology, and financial sectors; and (5) research gaps related to the dominance of cross- sectional designs that limit causal inference. The findings reinforce the relevance of the Job Demands– Resources (JD-R) Model and Conservation of Resources (COR) Theory as integrative frameworks, providing a basis for the development of evidence-based organizational interventions. This research endeavors to understand the construction of consumer pride within digital thrifting, specifically for Gen Z, amidst such rapid technological transformation. This research was conduct through a qualitative case study approach and designed to use a semi-systematic literature review and semi-structured interviews. The interviewees were drawn from the Gen Z population. The findings from the analyzes illustrated that digital platforms convey certain digital affordances facilitating circular shopping and the construction of imaginary communities of practice. Interestingly, consumer pride for this population is characterized by a perception of financial savvy as a result of what has been termed "smart consumerism", discovery involvement as part of the “treasure hunting” phenomenon, a perception of a unique authentic self, and a belief in the moral imperative of protecting the planet. This research denotes that there is a transformation of digital thrifting and the study also illustrated that for consumers, digital thrifting has resulted in the “moral identity project” being the normalizing and desigmatization the consumption of secondhand products. These findings offer vital insights for industry players and policymakers to promote more responsible consumption patterns within a dynamic digital ecosystem.

2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17305Transforming Small Businesses for Local-Product Competitiveness: a Structured Integrative Review of Product Innovation and Marketing Digitalization2026-07-13T13:06:07+00:00Fahmi Anwarifahmianwari.fa789@gmail.comVitradesie Noekentnoekent554@gmail.com
Small businesses that commercialize locally rooted products face a dual challenge: improving the product value offered to customers and communicating that value through digital markets. Existing studies explain product innovation, digitalization, capabilities, and business-model change, but often examine these elements separately. This article develops an auditable synthesis of how these elements jointly shape competitiveness. A structured integrative review was conducted using a documented corpus of 25 candidate records: 17 references audited from the submitted manuscript and eight additional records identified through targeted searches of Crossref metadata, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and journal-publisher platforms on 3 August 2026. Peer-reviewed studies published from January 2019 to July 2026 were screened against explicit criteria. Thirteen empirical studies were retained, coded, and weighted through a five-item quality appraisal. The synthesis identifies five linked mechanisms: product value readiness, digital market amplification, capability orchestration, business-model value capture, and ecosystem conditioning. Evidence also shows that digital adoption alone produces heterogeneous or weak outcomes when product quality, managerial capability, data use, or channel integration are inadequate. The article proposes a Product-Market Capability Alignment framework and five propositions that explain when innovation and marketing digitalization are likely to strengthen local-product competitiveness. The contribution is a bounded mechanism-based model rather than a universal claim: digitalization amplifies competitiveness when small businesses align credible product differentiation with digital capabilities and an appropriate value-capture model under resource constraints.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17342The Effect of Career Planning Self-Efficacy and Soft Skills on The Employment Readiness Of Final-Year Undergraduate Students at a Private University Faculty of Business and Economics Department of Management With “Excellent” Accreditation in Semarang2026-07-14T02:57:16+00:00Agung Setia Pratama Irfan211202006624@mhs.dinus.ac.id Awanis Linati Hazirohhaziroh22@gmail.comDiana Aqmaladianaaqmala@gmail.comHaunan Damarhaunandamar@gmail.com
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of career planning, self-efficacy, and soft skills on the work readiness of undergraduate students. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that FoMO has no significant effect on fan satisfaction (sig. 0.325), whereas hedonism (sig. 0.002) and fanaticism (sig. 0.000) demonstrate significant positive effects. Fanaticism emerged as the strongest predictor with a regression coefficient of 0.547. This study confirms that fanaticism and hedonism are more dominant in shaping fan satisfaction compared to FoMO, which merely serves as an initial trigger prior to the concert. The practical implication is that concert organizers need to strengthen fans' emotional engagement and deliver high-quality hedonic experiences.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17367The Influence of Motivation, Work Environment, and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Regional Secretariat Office of the Central Java Provincial Government2026-07-14T13:04:01+00:00Rangga Regananda211202207846@mhs.dinus.ac.idTito Aditya Perdanaperdana22@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, environment, and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Central Java Provincial Government Office. This study aims to analyze employee understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance with SOPs, and performance-based compensation systems in improving employee performance at Burjo Idaman Culinary MSMEs. This study uses a descriptive survey approach supported by SWOT analysis. The study population consisted of four employees and one business owner, all of whom were included using total sampling techniques. Data was collected through Likert scale questionnaires, direct observations, and structured interviews with owners. Quantitative data is analyzed using descriptive statistics, including average scores and percentages, while qualitative findings are synthesized through SWOT analysis to formulate strategic recommendations. These findings show that employees generally show a good level of understanding of SOPs, SOP compliance, and work performance. Employees understand their duties and responsibilities, maintain positive service behaviors, and demonstrate a strong commitment to completing assigned tasks. However, the owner's assessment revealed several areas that need improvement, especially the consistency of SOP implementation, the clarity of performance evaluation indicators, and the implementation of a more structured performance-based compensation system. The SWOT analysis identifies employee motivation, teamwork, and service culture as organizational strengths, while the lack of documented SOPs and objective performance evaluation systems emerges as major weaknesses. Based on these findings, the study recommends the development of standardized written SOPs, implementing a transparent performance-based compensation system, conducting regular employee training, and strengthening performance monitoring to improve employee performance and increase the competitiveness of culinary MSMEs.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17478Loyalty of Indihome Internet Service Users in Semarang2026-07-17T03:18:17+00:00Andin Mariska Sari211202207923@mhs.dinus.ac.idImam Nuryantonuryanto22@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the influence of customer experience and customer bonding on customer loyalty among IndiHome users in Semarang City. Measuring cultural intelligence encompasses four main aspects: metacognitive, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral. The global tourism sector is currently undergoing a transformation from mass tourism to experience-based tourism, requiring destination managers to understand tourist adaptability across cultures in order to foster post-visit loyalty. The results of the study indicate that cultural intelligence in the metacognitive, motivational, and behavioral dimensions has a positive and significant influence on the revisit intention and online word-of-mouth. This suggests that tourists’ mental awareness, motivational drive, and the appropriateness of their verbal and nonverbal behavior in a new environment can significantly enhance their loyalty and willingness to promote the destination online. Meanwhile, the cognitive dimension was found to have no significant influence on the revisit intention but did have a positive and significant influence on electronic word-of-mouth. This finding confirms that knowledge of a destination’s norms and customs is not a direct driver of repeat visits but rather encourages tourists to simply share information on social media. This study offers practical insights for tourism service providers in designing marketing strategies based on positive cross-cultural awareness to foster tourist loyalty and encourage destination promotion through social media, thereby supporting the sustainable growth of domestic tourism.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17096Effects of Trust, Social Influence, and Perceived Security on Millennials’ Shopee Usage Intention Through Satisfaction2026-07-05T06:18:41+00:00Cahyo Muhrianto211202207560@mhs.dinus.ac.idAmronamron33@gmail.comMahmudmahmud@gmail.comHaunan Damarhaunan43@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze the effects of trust, social influence, and perceived security on millennials’ usage intention toward Shopee through satisfaction as a mediating variable. The rapid growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has intensified competition among digital platforms, making it important to understand factors influencing consumer behavior, especially among millennials who are highly adaptive to digital technology. This research employed a quantitative approach using primary data collected through online questionnaires distributed to Shopee users. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling with 136 respondents who had experience using Shopee. To analyze the gathered data, this study employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through the application of SmartPLS 4. The results showed that trust, social influence, and perceived security had positive and significant effects on satisfaction. Furthermore, trust, social influence, and satisfaction significantly influenced usage intention. Nonetheless, there was no significant direct link between perceived security and usage intention. While satisfaction proved to be a viable mediator for the impacts of trust and social influence on usage intention, it could not mediate the relationship originating from perceived security. The R-square results indicated that the model had strong explanatory power in explaining usage intention and satisfaction variables. However, the findings provide no evidence that Brand Image either directly influenced consumers' Purchase Decisions or served as the explanatory mechanism through which Product Quality and e-WOM shaped those decisions. These findings indicate that Generation Z consumers emphasize product performance rather than brand perception when selecting skincare products, highlighting the importance of continuous product improvement and effective digital communication strategies.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17233Investigating Key Factors Influencing Honda Motorcycle Purchase Intention2026-07-09T07:48:05+00:00Randy Pranadyo211202207512@mhs.dinus.ac.idGuruh Taufan Hariyadihariyadi@gmail.comImam Nuryantonuryanto@gmail.comLinda Ayu Oktorizaoktoriza@gmail.com
This study examines the effects of key after-sales service dimensions on Honda motorcycle consumers’ purchase intention. This study examines affiliate marketing effects on BOLT transactional interest through trust in product safety. Using explanatory quantitative research, data from 161 Semarang pet lovers were analyzed with PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that affiliator credibility and promotional interactivity significantly enhance product safety trust, while interactivity and trust significantly increase transactional interest. Product safety trust mediates the effects of affiliator credibility and promotional interactivity on transactional interest, indicating that safety assurance is central to persuasive pet food promotion. Conversely, content quality and transparency do not significantly affect trust or transactional interest, suggesting that informative content alone is insufficient without credible and interactive reassurance. These results contribute to digital marketing knowledge by positioning product safety trust as a critical mechanism in affiliate marketing for high-involvement pet food products. Amidst intense digital competition, understanding purchasing intentions ( purchase intentions) is crucial. Consumer intention is key to business sustainability. However, driving online purchasing intentions faces significant challenges in the form of high uncertainty and information asymmetry , especially in sensitive sectors such as fresh produce, luxury goods, and cross-border transactions . Furthermore, managing digital reviews ( electronic word-of-mouth / eWOM ) and company response strategies to negative reviews often trigger a dilemma between cognitive overload ( response information (overload ) or persistent uncertainty for consumers. Although extensive research has been conducted on online purchase intentions , there is a significant research gap regarding how these digital variables interact. This study aims to examine the synergy between product and service quality in reducing perceived risk, as well as analyze the shift in the function of new technologies such as blockchain from mere technical tracking tools to symbols of social status and responsible consumption. Through this comprehensive approach, the research is expected to provide effective marketing communication strategies to build consumer trust instantly and sustainably in the digital ecosystem.

Keywords: E- commerce , Purchase Intention, Information Asymmetry , eWOM , Blockchain , Consumer Trust.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17545Influence Of Multidimensional Consumption Values On Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) Purchase Decisions Among Generation Z2026-07-19T14:30:10+00:00Susi Rahmawati211202208122@mhs.dinus.ac.idAmronamron@dsn.dinus.ac.idFebrianur Ibnu Fitroh Sukono Putrafbr10@dsn.dinus.ac.idHandy Nur Cahyahandy.nur@dsn.dinus.ac.idMuhammad Azammuhammadazamphd@gmail.com
The development of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) has transformed smoking patterns, particularly among Generation Z. ENDS are no longer perceived solely as an alternative to reduce conventional cigarette consumption but have also become part of a modern lifestyle, social identity, and youth social culture in urban areas. This study aims to analyze the influence of consumption values on ENDS purchase decisions among Older Generation Z individuals aged 21–29 years in Semarang City by applying the Theory of Consumption Values (TCV). This theory explains that consumer behavior in selecting, purchasing, or using a product is influenced by five dimensions of consumption values, namely functional value, social value, emotional value, epistemic value, and conditional value. This study employed a quantitative research method using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis with SmartPLS 4 software. Data were collected through an online questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale using Google Forms, with a total sample of 132 respondents. The results indicate that functional value and epistemic value have a significant positive effect on ENDS purchase decisions. Meanwhile, social value, emotional value, and conditional value do not have a significant effect on purchase decisions. These findings suggest that ENDS purchase decisions among Older Generation Z are primarily driven by considerations of product usefulness, quality, variety, novelty, and curiosity rather than by social, emotional, or situational factors.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/16876The Influence of Leadership Style, Employee Training, and Technological Skills on Employee Performance at Pg Redjosarie2026-06-29T03:02:30+00:00Fahmi Akbar211202208039@mhs.dinus.ac.idRoymon Panjaitanpanjaitan@gmail.com
This study investigates how leadership style, employee training, and technological skills contribute to employee performance at PG Redjosarie Sugar Factory. The results demonstrate that leadership style is not a statistically significant predictor of employee performance, whereas employee training and technological skills positively and significantly contribute to performance improvement. Among the three predictors, technological skills emerged as the strongest determinant of employee performance. The combined model consisting of leadership style, employee training, and technological skills yielded moderate explanatory power, determining 46.2% of employee performance (R² = 0.462). In addition to functional aspects such as product quality and benefits, non-physical factors like country of origin and brand image play an important role in shaping consumer perceptions of quality, safety, and product credibility. On the other hand, as a country with a Muslim-majority population, the aspect of halal has become increasingly important, especially for products that are directly applied to the skin such as skincare. However, consumers’ levels of halal knowledge vary, which may influence how country of origin and brand image affect purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of country of origin and brand image on skincare purchasing decisions and to examine the role of halal knowledge as a moderating variable. This study aims to examine how online impulse buying intention is influenced by the congruence among consumers, influencers, and products, with wishful identification acting as a moderating variable. Based on Self-Congruity Theory, this congruence is defined through three dimensions: consumer-influencer congruence, consumer-product congruence, and influencer-product congruence. Using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, this study targets Generation Z consumers in East Java who are active on social media and have prior online shopping experience. Data will be collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings are expected to show that consumer-product congruence has the strongest influence on online impulse buying intention, while consumer-influencer congruence and influencer-product congruence may require additional psychological factors to exert a significant effect. Furthermore, wishful identification is expected to strengthen the relationship between congruence and impulse buying intention, particularly among consumers with a strong desire to emulate an influencer's lifestyle. While the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has long explained technology acceptance through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, these two constructs alone may not fully capture the behavioral characteristics of Generation Z users. This study extends the TAM framework by incorporating trust, self-efficacy, and enjoyment to provide a broader explanation of Generation Z’s intention to use BRImo mobile banking in Indonesia. A quantitative research design was employed, and data were collected through an online questionnaire from 220 Generation Z respondents aged between 17 and 28 years who had prior experience using BRImo. The proposed research model was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that trust, self-efficacy, and enjoyment positively influence both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. In addition, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness significantly enhance users’ intention to continue using BRImo, with perceived usefulness emerging as the most influential predictor. The measurement and structural model assessments also confirm satisfactory reliability, validity, and substantial explanatory power. These findings enrich the extended TAM literature by demonstrating that Generation Z’s mobile banking adoption is shaped not only by perceptions of functionality but also by users’ confidence in technology, trust in digital financial services, and enjoyable interaction experiences. However, brand affection does not have a significant effect on brand loyalty or social influence. In addition, neither self-esteem nor social influence significantly influences brand loyalty, and both variables fail to mediate the relationship between brand affection and brand loyalty. These findings suggest that emotional attachment alone is insufficient to strengthen customer loyalty in the context of shuttlecock products. Consumers appear to place greater emphasis on functional product attributes, such as quality, durability, performance, and value, when making repeat purchase decisions. Although perceived benefit is recognized as an important determinant of consumer behavior, its influence on repurchase decision through electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) remains underexplored in the beauty clinic context. This study investigates the effect of perceived benefit on repurchase decision through the mediating role of E-WOM among Generation Z patients at Ella Skincare Semarang. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 150 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results reveal that perceived benefit has a positive and significant effect on both E-WOM and repurchase decision. Conversely, digital competence (β = 0.106, t = 1.280, p = 0.201), learning agility (β = 0.104, t = 0.813, p = 0.416), and self-efficacy (β = 0.235, t = 1.856, p = 0.064) did not significantly influence work readiness. These findings suggest that students' motivation to learn is a more influential factor in enhancing work readiness than digital competence, learning agility, or self-efficacy. Therefore, vocational education institutions should prioritize strategies that foster learning motivation while strengthening practical experience, digital competencies, and soft skills through industry collaboration and work-based learning programs to better prepare graduates for the evolving demands of the labor market.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17307The Effect of Work Life Balance, Work Stress, and Work Environment on Employee Performance (Case Study on Employees of PT Sumber Citra Multiniaga Pekalongan) 2026-07-13T09:34:31+00:00Bertrand211202207716@mhs.dinus.ac.idRaden Ayu Aminah Rizkia Puspita Sarisari@gmail.comAmronamron@gmail.comHertiana Ikasariikasari@gmail.com
This study aims to examine the effect of Work-Life Balance, work stress, and work environment on employee performance at PT Sumber Citra MultiniagaPekalongan. This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and organizational culture on employee loyalty, with performance satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted among employees working in the F&B industry in Pemalang Regency using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 respondents selected using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS).The findings reveal that compensation, organizational culture, and performance satisfaction each have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Furthermore, compensation and organizational culture significantly influence performance satisfaction. The mediation analysis demonstrates that performance satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between compensation and employee loyalty, as well as the relationship between organizational culture and employee loyalty. Among all variables examined, performance satisfaction emerged as the strongest predictor of employee loyalty. These findings indicate that financial compensation alone is insufficient to build sustainable employee loyalty. Organizations should also foster a supportive organizational culture and implement transparent performance recognition systems that enhance employees' sense of achievement and professional appreciation. Therefore, improving performance satisfaction should become a strategic priority for F&B companies seeking to strengthen employee retention and reduce turnover.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17318Employee Engagement, Work-Life Balance, and Grit Affecting Generation Z Job-Hopping Intentions at Restaurant X2026-07-13T10:03:19+00:00 Jesica Adiela Vania Tjan211202207505@mhs.dinus.ac.idArtha FebrianaFebriana@gmail.comPiji PakartiPakarti@gmail.comElia Resha FatmawatiFatmawati@gmail.com
Generation Z focuses not only on stable employment but also on opportunities for personal development, a comfortable work environment, and a balanced life. This study aims to identify the current conditions of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), SOP compliance, performance-based compensation, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and employee performance in a Burjo culinary MSME, as well as to describe the interrelationships among these aspects based on observation and interview findings. The study employed a descriptive mixed-methods approach. Quantitative data was collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire administered to all four employees, while qualitative data was obtained through direct field observations and in-depth interviews with the owner. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean scores and percentages, and were further enriched through qualitative analysis of the observation and interview findings. The results indicate that employees demonstrated good levels of work motivation, work discipline, and service culture, reflecting key characteristics of Organizational Citizenship Behavior and making positive contributions to the organization. However, the owner's observations revealed that employees' understanding of SOPs, compliance with SOPs, and the implementation of a performance-based compensation system had not yet been fully optimized. These findings suggest a gap between employees' positive work behaviors and the existing human resource management practices, which have not yet fully supported sustainable improvements in employee performance. Therefore, this study recommends developing more comprehensive SOPs, strengthening monitoring mechanisms to improve SOP compliance, and implementing a more objective performance-based compensation system to strengthen Organizational Citizenship Behavior and enhance employee performance in culinary MSMEs.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17413Role of Customer Retention in Mediating the Relationship Between Service Quality, Loyalty Program, Pricing Strategy and OTA Performance2026-07-14T14:36:59+00:00Rina Elviana211202208028@mhs.dinus.ac.idGuruh Taufan HariyadiHariyadi@gmail.comDiana PuspitasariPuspitasari@gmail.comFebrianur Ibnu Fitroh Sukono PutraPutra@gmail.com
This study aims to analyse the influence of service quality, loyalty programs, and pricing strategies on OTA performance and customer retention, as well as the mediating effect of customer retention on the relationship between service quality, loyalty programs, and pricing strategies. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) in SmartPLS. Data were obtained from 58 R&D employees across six institutions in Central Java. Structural model testing revealed an adjusted R-squared of 29.4% for employee performance, with the remaining variance attributable to factors outside the model. Hypothesis testing demonstrated that knowledge sharing exerts a positive and significant direct effect on teamwork, individual innovation capability, and employee performance. Active participation in meetings and a willingness to share insights were found to enhance shared responsibility and motivation to learn. However, neither teamwork nor individual innovation capability significantly influenced employee performance, indicating that individual innovation capability did not serve as a mediating variable. This lack of significance is attributed to rigid organizational performance evaluation systems that emphasize daily targets and individual compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). As a result, the trial-and-error process required for innovation compromises daily work efficiency. It is therefore recommended that companies allocate dedicated slack time for development divisions, enabling ideas generated through knowledge-sharing activities to be implemented as tangible performance improvements without being constrained by strict operational deadlines.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17442Efforts to Increase Interest in Visiting the Semarang Old Town Museum Through Brand Awareness2026-07-15T11:57:41+00:00Vera Rosmalia211202207927@mhs.dinus.ac.idDiana AqmalaAqmala@gmail.comGuruh Taufan HariyadiHariyadi@gmail.comFebrianur Ibnu Fitroh Sukono PutraPutra@gmail.com
Semarang's Old Town Museum faces challenges in attracting tourists, despite its iconic historical significance. While the Ministry of Transportation Regulation through PM Number 45/2020 restricts electric bicycles to a maximum speed of 25 km/h, manufacturers exploit technical loopholes through motor control systems with adjustable Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and unregulated duty cycles. This study employs a comparative engineering analysis and regulatory compliance review to investigate these violation risks and their underlying mechanisms. From an engineering perspective, this compromise poses severe operational risks, including component overheating and fire hazards, while serving as a business strategy to bypass stringent motorcycle taxation and type-approval testing. By comparing Indonesia’s regulation to developed global regulation, this study highlights the necessity for integrated oversight between the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Transportation. The findings demonstrate that aligning market products with safety regulations through encrypted hardware and anti-tampering technologies for controllers, mandatory battery testing, and restrictions on flammable plastic materials, is essential to ensure consumer safety, technical compliance, and the long-term sustainability of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17219QCDSE-Integrated Fuzzy AHP DSS Model For Prioritizing Engineering Cost Reduction Strategies in the Automotive Industry2026-07-07T09:32:45+00:00Willi Immanuel Susantowilli.i.susanto@gmail.comT. Brenda Chandrawatibrenda@unika.ac.id
The automotive industry is a strategic manufacturing sector that makes a substantial contribution to Indonesia's economic growth through its impact on GDP, industrial supply chains, and employment. However, recent trends indicate declining vehicle sales and production. These conditions compel automotive industries to implement cost reduction strategies to maintain product affordability and competitiveness. Common approaches mainly focus on cost, quality, and delivery, while safety and engineering ethics are often not explicitly integrated into the decision-making process. In addition, deterministic evaluation methods are less capable of handling uncertainty and subjectivity in multi-criteria engineering decisions. Therefore, this study proposes a DSS model based on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) by integrating Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Ethics (QCDSE) criteria. The proposed model combines qualitative data obtained from expert judgment through focus group discussions, with quantitative data processed using Fuzzy AHP. The results demonstrate that the proposed DSS successfully transforms expert judgments into quantitative priorities and provides a systematic ranking of cost reduction alternatives based on the QCDSE criteria. Commonized design was identified as the highest-priority alternative, followed by specification improvement. The proposed framework can support more balanced and transparent cost reduction decision-making in the automotive industry.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17429Live Streaming Shopping and Impulse Buying Among Generation Z: The Mediating Role of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)2026-07-14T14:59:15+00:00Tika Pertiwi Putripertiwitika02@students.unnes.ac.idEuis SolihaSoliha@gmail.com
The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed consumer shopping behavior through the emergence of live streaming shopping on social commerce platforms, making impulse buying an increasingly prevalent phenomenon characterized by spontaneous and unplanned purchase decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of live streaming shopping on impulse buying with Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) as a mediating variable in Generation Z consumers. This research is based on the theory of Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) where live streaming shopping functions as the stimulus, FoMO as the organism, and impulse buying as the behavioral response. This research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through online questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents using purposive sampling. The analysis method used is Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that live streaming shopping has a positive and significant effect on fear of missing out and impulse buying. In addition, fear of missing out also has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying. Other findings suggest that fear of missing out acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between live streaming shopping and impulse buying.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17475Going Viral Before the Curtain Rises: an Analysis of Digital Marketing Strategies in Teater Kaplink’s “LAUTAN BERNYANYI” Production2026-07-16T14:02:41+00:00Muhamad Firdaus Syaifullah211202207501@mhs.dinus.ac.idFebrianur Ibnu Fitroh Sukono PutraPutra@gmail.com
Sustaining organizational existence and viability within the campus theater ecosystem in Central Java presents a strategic challenge, given that the market share for these performing arts is exceptionally niche and highly segmented. Amidst fluctuating public preferences, consistency in artistic production and the capacity to regenerate the audience base serve as primary indicators of an arts collective's resilience. In this context, Teater Kaplink, currently in its 29th year, represents a campus theater entity that has successfully demonstrated operational sustainability and cross-generational audience retention. The success in maintaining this audience retention correlates closely with the implementation of adaptive marketing strategies. The era of information disruption necessitates a transformation in promotional approaches, wherein the utilization of social media functions as an essential instrument for optimizing market reach and executing precise audience targeting. Grounded in these dynamics, this research focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the transformation of Teater Kaplink's promotional methods, transitioning from conventional approaches to the integration of digital marketing. Empirical data collection was conducted through structured field observations during the production phase of the performance "Lautan Bernyanyi" between January 19 and July 21, 2024. Holistically, this study aims to identify, delineate, and analyze the effectiveness of the digital marketing strategies implemented throughout this production cycle.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17541Role of Content Marketing, Brand Awareness, and Celebrity Endorsers in The Buying Decision Of Ventela Shoe Products in Semarang2026-07-19T12:18:39+00:00Ayubi Al Gozali211202107194@mhs.dinus.ac.idDiana PuspitasariDianap@gmail.comMasitha Fahmi WardaniWardani@gmail.comTito Aditya PermanaPermana@gmail.com
The growing intensity of competition within the domestic footwear sector has pushed companies to pay closer attention to what actually drives consumers to make a purchase—an issue that becomes especially relevant when looking at Ventela shoes in the city of Semarang. This research sets out to examine how content marketing, brand awareness, and the use of celebrity endorsers shape buyying decisions for Ventela products, looking both at their separate contributions and their combined effect. To carry this out, a quantitative method was applied, with 145 respondents selected through purposive sampling based on several criteria: they had to have already purchased Ventela shoes, be at least 18 years old, be regular users of social media, and live in Semarang. Responses were gathered through Likert-scale questionnaires, and the resulting data were processed using multiple linear regression along with t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²), all run through SPSS.

The findings show that content marketing (p = 0.005) and celebrity endorsement (p < 0.001) each have a meaningful, positive effect on buyying decisions, while brand awareness turns out not to play a significant role on its own (p = 0.269). When examined together, however, all three variables jointly produce a significant effect on buyying decisions (F = 22.816; p < 0.001), with the model accounting for 32.8% of the variance observed (R² = 0.328). These results point to a clear conclusion: content marketing and celebrity endorsers stand out as the key drivers behind consumer decisions to buy Ventela shoes in Semarang, whereas brand awareness alone does not carry the same weight. In light of this, companies would benefit from focusing their efforts on producing high-quality content marketing and selecting well-matched celebrity endorsers as a way to strengthen consumer buyying decisions.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technologyhttps://publikasi.dinus.ac.id/IC-BEAT/article/view/17544Determinants of Corporate Profitability in The Indonesian Food and Beverage Sector2026-07-19T08:18:02+00:00Candra Lidia Margaretha211202106908@mhs.dinus.ac.idAlmira Santi SamastaSamasta@gmail.com
This study aims to examine the determinants of corporate profitability, focusing on working capital management, firm characteristics, and financial leverage. Specifically, it investigates the effects of the average accounts receivable turnover period, daily inventory turnover, average accounts payable payment period, liquidity level, company size, and the level of debt usage on company profitability. Using a quantitative research design, this study utilizes secondary data from audited financial statements. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), while the independent variables are evaluated through financial ratios, including collection periods, inventory turnover cycles, payment periods, the current ratio, total assets, and debt-to-equity metrics. Statistical analysis is performed using multiple linear regression. The findings of this research are expected to provide empirical evidence on how efficient working capital management and structural firm variables influence a company's financial performance. Ultimately, the results serve as a strategic guideline for management to optimize asset utilization, manage debt risks, and enhance overall shareholder value.
2026-10-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 International Conference on Business, Economics, Accounting, and Technology
