Economic Pressure on the Interest Margin of Banks in Indonesia
Mubarok, Faizul
Fatimah, Etty
Net Interest Margin (NIM) is a profitability ratio to compare interest-based income and total assets owned. This study analyzes economic conditions on the Net Interest Margin (NIM) of conventional banking in Indonesia. This study uses the Vector Error Correction Model method with monthly data from 2008 to 2020. The long-term results are only inflation, which does not affect, while all variables do not affect the short-term. The Impulse Response Function results show that the exchange rate positively shocks the Net Interest Margin while interest rates, gold prices, oil prices, and inflation negatively shock NIM. The Forecast Error Variance Decomposition results found that inflation gave the second-largest variation while interest rates provided the minor variation. Utilization of the Subak Jatiluwih Landscape as a Tourism Object: Tourist Perceptions and the Impact on Village Income
Prastyadewi, Made Ika
Parwita, Gede Bayu Surya
Pramandari, Putu Yusi
The growing development of the tourism sector impacts increasing land conversion, which results in a reduction in productive agricultural land and the threat of subak as an agricultural institution based on local wisdom in Bali. The development of the tourism sector has eroded the existence of subak due to the high economic value of converting agricultural land to non-agricultural functions. If this condition continues, the existence of subak as a form of local wisdom in the agricultural sector in Bali will become extinct. Moreover, the subak cultural landscape in Bali has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. The heritage includes four sites (areas) which all form one unit. This study aims to analyze the use of the Jatiluwih subak landscape as a tourist object by focusing on the problem of tourists’ perceptions of the subak Jatiluwih landscape and the impact of these tourism activities on village income. The research was conducted on the Subak Jatiluwih Landscape as a WBD icon. The approach used is a quantitative approach using primary and secondary data. The sample in this study was taken by interview method and documentation study, which was then analyzed descriptively. The analysis results show an increase in the number of tourist visits every year where tourists think that an interesting tourist object is a place that has uniqueness. Tourism activities also positively impacted the village economy, where the local traditional village managed and fairly shared income from entrance tickets to tourist objects.

Wismantoro, Yohan
Susilowati, MG Westri Kekalih Susilowati
Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a very significant role in the economy, can even be said to be the backbone of the economy. However, MSMEs are precisely the sector hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Digitalization creates new opportunities for MSMEs in the pandemic. FinTech, one of the implementations of digitalization should be pursued to be used by MSMEs. Using path analysis processed using Partial Least Square (PLS), this research aims to identify how Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) works on Adopting FinTech by MSMEs. The Outer Model and Inner Model reflect that the model work. The outer loading value of ? 0.7, AVE value ? of 0.5, Cronbach's Alpha ? 0,70, a correlation value ? of 0.50; and Composite Reliability ? 0.6, and R-Square 0.716 reflect it. However, regarding the factors that influence intention to use, it is different from previous research that became a reference. There are only four hypotheses proven. Those are Context had a significant positive effect on Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness had a significant positive effect on the intention to use fintech. Coal Mining Sub-Sectors in Taxation: An Overview of Characteristic Factors
Permana, Cahya Bagus
Oktafiyani, Melati
Tax Avoidance is a legal effort made by companies to minimize the payment of their business tax obligations to the tax authorities by taking advantage of existing tax regulation loopholes or those that have not been regulated in statutory regulations. Even if this action is legal, the government does not want it because it is unable to optimize tax revenues. Moreover, the company will benefit from tax avoidance whenever possible. This study aims to determine whether firms’ characteristics variables influence tax avoidance. This study covers a population of 25 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2019. Using a purposive sampling technique, eight coal mining companies were selected as part of this study. The study uses SPSS data processing tools, and the data is analysed by multiple linear regression analysis. The findings showed that the firm characteristics represented by the variables of size, leverage, age, and sales growth did not affect tax avoidance, while the profitability variable affected tax avoidance. The results indicate that the variability of firm characteristics may explain the Tax Avoidance of 18.9%, while the remaining 81.1% can be explained by other variables. Foreign Portfolio Investment Control Using Macroeconomic and Institutional Policies: Evidence from Indonesia and Thailand
Zainuri, Zainuri
This study analyzed the influence of macroeconomic and institutional variables on foreign portfolio investment inflows in two ASEAN countries, Namely Indonesia and Thailand, in 2005 – 2019. The analytical tools used in this research are Panel Vector Error Correction Model (PVECM) and Panel Ordinary Least Square (POLS). The estimation results show that the macroeconomic variables that are proxied using inflation and openness economy and institutional variables that are proxied using the variable level of corruption and quality of regulation have a significant effect. In the long term, the inflation rate, the openness economy, and the quality of regulation variables significantly affect foreign portfolio investment. Meanwhile, in a short time, only the inflation rate variable and the openness ratio have a significant effect on foreign portfolio investment. The two analytical tools used found that macroeconomic and institutional variables consistently affect foreign portfolio investment. Keywords: Foreign portfolio investment, Inflation, Openness Economy ratio, CorruptionRegulation, PVECM, POLS

Macroeconomics Linkages on Indonesian Economic Growth: A Granger Causality Analysis
Yusuf, Mochammad
Macroeconomic indicators and trade performance are essential components of developing countries' development as a whole. The upheaval caused by government policies, the economic crisis, and the pandemic that facilitated economic mobility became a major challenge for countries around the world. The aim of this research is to examine the linkages between macroeconomic variables and trade growth in Indonesia using the Error Correction Model and Granger Causality approaches. According to this study, inflation and exchange rates have a significant negative impact on economic growth in the long run. Meanwhile, trade and foreign investment have a significant positive impact on economic growth, both short and long-term. Furthermore, evidence found a bidirectional relationship between inflation and economic growth. Foreign investment and the exchange rate, on the other hand, have a one-way relationship with Indonesian economic growth. Based on the study's findings, it is recommended that the governments of these countries implement measures and policies to manage the real exchange rate, stabilize inflation, and protect economic growth

The Relationship of Economic Growth, Export Value and Inflation with The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ArDL) Approach
Fitriyanto, Nur
Economic growth is one of the benchmarks for the success of a country in running the economy along with the factors that influence it, so this is important to observe. Many previous studies have proven the influence of export value and inflation on economic growth. This study chooses the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model approach to see the dynamics of long-term and short-term relationships for the variables of export value, inflation and economic growth. The research period is quarterly, starting from 2011:Q1 – 2019:Q4 with the type of time series data. The results of this study, through the ARDL model, the variables of export value and inflation are proven to have long-term cointegration or move together in the long term towards economic growth. This study also succeeded in revealing that the variables of export value and inflation have a short-term relationship with a relatively fast adjustment time, which is 2-3 months to return to balance. Rismayanti, Rismayanti
This study aims to conduct an analysis of the concentration of regional development performance of districts/cities in Gorontalo through measuring the regional development index as an effort to measure the level of regional competitiveness by examining several indicators that are considered influential. The method used in this study is quantitative analysis through the measurement of the composit performace index. The main steps in compiling a composite index include weighting literacy studies, trend determination, alternative index determination and composite performance index determination. As a result, the District/City Regional Development Index in Gorontalo Province is distributed less evenly, the regions with a high category index are only Gorontalo City, while the other 5 regencies/cities are in the low and medium categories. The problem that must be addressed in almost all districts/cities is the reduction of poverty rates through the absorption of labor that can increase people's per capita expenditure and increase regional income through inclusive economic growth

Six Sigma Analysis as an Approach to Improve Quality of Corrugated Zinc Sheet Product
Cahya, Handy Nur
Every manufacturing company will strive to create the best quality products. This is also done by PT. CMSM, a steel company, is producing corrugated zinc products. In several production periods, the defective product values were still found that exceeded the tolerance limit value set at 0.5% in corrugated zinc products. These problems are, of course, very detrimental to the company, so it’s essential to control the quality of corrugated zinc products. This study aimed to determine the factors that cause product defects, propose plans to improve product quality, and provide managerial recommendations based on Six Sigma analysis. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the study results, it is known that DPO is 0.000885 and DPMO is 884.6028. At this time, the company is at the level of 4.64 sigma with CTQ (Critical to Quality) folded zinc sheet, cut size is not according to standard, thickness is not according to standard, uneven coating layer and perforated zinc sheet. Based on the analysis, five factors cause product defects: humans, machines, methods, materials, and the environment. To improve quality, the company should improve their quality control through 5W + 1H analysis, namely by providing training to employees, periodic machine maintenance and ensuring that the SOPs that have been made are implemented correctly and adequately. Machmuddah, Zaky
Sumaryati, Anna
This study aims to examine the effect of financial ratios moderated by profitability ratios on the financial distress of transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the IDX for 4 consecutive years in the 2018-2021 period. The independent variables are proxied by CR (liquidity), DAR (leverage), SG (growth), and the addition of TATO (activity). In addition, ROA is a proxy for the profitability variable which is the moderating variable. The Z-Score (Altman) is a proxy for financial distress as the dependent variable. This study selected companies in the transportation and logistics sector for the 2018-2021 period as a population with a sample size of 18 companies in the transportation and logistics sector that met the criteria. Logistic regression analysis was used as an analytical technique in this study. The results of his research inform that CR, DAR, and TATO have a significant influence on the occurrence of financial distress. Meanwhile, SG did not significantly affects the occurrence of financial distress. In addition, ROA can moderate the effect of SG and TATO on the occurrence of financial distress. However, ROA is unable to moderate the effect of CR and DAR on the occurrence of financial distress.

Annisa, Dea
Irawati, Wiwit
This type of research is quantitative associative and the data used is the annual data on the financial statements of Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority for the 2015-2018 period, totalling 14 BUS. The sample is determined using a purposive sampling method. The number of Islamic Commercial Banks studied was 8 with a research period of 4 years to obtain 32 samples. This study uses the Multiple Linear Regression method, using the help of the EViews 9 program. From the results of hypothesis testing, it is found that the variable financing problems and SBIS have a joint effect on NUC. However, partially problematic financing has no effect on NUC and SBIS has a positive effect on NUC. With TPF as a moderating variable, the test results using the Moderated Regression Analysis technique show that TPF does not moderate the effect of non-performing financing (NPF) on NUC but TPF can moderate the effect of the SBIS variable on NUC. Prediction of the Number of Graduates Absorption by the Field of Expertise
Farida, Ida
Hariyadi, Guruh Taufan
Setiawan, Aries
The study program accreditation process also includes reporting forms filled in with the number of graduates working according to their field of expertise. A low conformity rate will indicate a lack of training and skills for graduates. If the conformity rate is high, it will affect the results of accreditation to increase and make the level of public trust in the study program higher, as well as from the perspective of graduate staff users. The study program needs to know the data of its graduates earlier as a step to increase the compatibility rate of the field of work with the field of lectures for its graduates. These problems can be minimized by carrying out a prediction process on the suitability of graduate fields. The variable used to predict is a data series of the number of graduates working in the right field over a certain period of time. The use of linear regression for predictions in the case of determining the exact field really helps make it easier for study programs to help predict the number of students who graduate by working in the right field. This study uses a linear regression method.
