ANALISIS PENERAPAN TATA KELOLA PADA KELOMPOK USAHA MIKRO KECIL DAN MENENGAH (UMKM) DI KECAMATAN SEMARANG BARAT

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Business development in the economic group of small and medium enterprises greatly encourages growth and national economic development. MSME management must implement the principles or principles of good corporate governance, including: the principle of transparency, the principle of responsibility, the principle of obligation, the principle of independence as well as fairness and equality. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the process of implementing governance in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) group in West Semarang District. The object of this research is the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Group (MSMEs) in West Semarang District. The number of samples to be used in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The results showed that the process of implementing good governance in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) group in West Semarang District had been carried out well. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of the level of governance implementation where 62% of MSMEs can implement good governance while the other 24% are still in the bad category. The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Group (MSMEs) in West Semarang District shows that many MSME actors have implemented good business management, especially on indicators of accountability and accountability. However, the indicators of transparency and independence from MSMEs are still weak.

Perkembangan bisnis pada kelompok ekonomi usaha kecil serta usaha menengah sangat mendorong pertumbuhan dan pembangunan ekonomi secara nasional. Pengelolaan UMKM harus mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip atau asas tata kelola korporat yang baik, meliputi: asas transparan, asas pertanggungjawaban, asas kewajiban, asas independen juga kewajaran dan kesetaraan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis proses penerapan tata kelola pada kelompok Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Semarang Barat. Objek penelitian adalah Kelompok Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Semarang Barat. Adapun jumlah sampel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses penerapan tata kelola pada kelompok Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Semarang Barat sudah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis tingkat penerapan tata kelola dimana terdapat 62% UMKM dapat menerapkan tata kelola dengan baik sedangkan 24% lainnya masih berada pada kategori buruk. Kelompok Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Semarang Barat menunjukkan banyak pelaku UMKM yang sudah melaksanakan pengelolaan usaha dengan baik terutama pada indikator pertanggungjawaban dan akuntabilitas. Namun pada indikator transparansi dan independensi dari UMKM masih lemah.
